Glyphosate is one of the most popular herbicides for crop protection. Also it is the most controversial agrochemical. The price of glyphosate prices have been on a roller coaster these years. In the first quarter of 2013, glyphosate become the “star product” successfully.

The discussion of glyphosate never stopped and now it is becoming hotter mainly about whether the price will go up or go down. Nowadays, the price changes day by day. From January to March, the price increased by about 15 %. The market demand is insreasing, now manufacturers face the problem of short stock.

The main reasons for the situation:

1)The government make out stringest environment protection regulations, many factories can not start regular production, which cause the lack of stock and supply.

2)The refound tax of PMIDA (13%) has been canceled from Jan. 1st, 2013. which supposed to improve the price of glyphosate.

While some people think the price will be firm for the purchasing ability of the end users are not that strong as the suppliers consider. For after all, the demand and the supply is not in balance.

Jiangsu Fengshan Group have registered glyphosate for years. PD20083006 for Glyphosate 95%TC and PD20097973 for Glyphosate 41% SL. At present, we have little stock for sales. The orders before march have to wait to arrange the delivery till the end of April.
